Have A Lot Of Acne? Try An Acne Prone 4-Step Regimen Kit

If you have a lot of acne that will not go away, this can get frustrating. One thing you could do is see a dermatologist to get help. You could also try an acne-prone 4-step regimen kit first to see if this works for you. This would be much less expensive when compared to a doctor's office visit. Not all 4-step regimen kits work the exact same way, but most come with the same type of products. Keep reading to learn more so you can start taking care of your acne problem.

Cleanser

The first part of using the 4-step regimen kit is cleansing your face properly. This is the most important part as you need your face to be as clean as it can be for the acne product to work properly. The product will come in a bottle that you can mix with a little warm water. Lather it onto your face and then rinse well with lukewarm water. Pat your face dry with a soft cloth.

Astringent

An acne astringent is generally part of this type of kit. This will further cleanse your skin by cleaning out your pores and removing surface oil and dirt from your skin. This is a liquid that you can place on a cotton ball or cotton pad and wipe over your skin.  When you are finished wiping over your entire face wait for a few seconds for your face to naturally dry.

Drying Lotion

The kit you purchase may come with a drying lotion that is made of sulfur. This will remove oil and any wetness that is in the acne areas. This is usually applied using a cotton pad. When wiping over the acne areas wipe carefully so as to not cause damage to the acne. You especially do not want to break open any sores you may have. If you do, the product may burn the area causing you to feel pain.

Acne Treatment

The last step of the process is using an acne cream on your face. This is a spot treatment that you place only on the areas of your face that have acne. You should not apply this cream to areas of your face that are clear and have no acne. You may be able to use this once in the morning and then again at night before you go to bed. This will depend on the kit that you purchase.

It will generally take a few weeks for your skin to completely heal and be free of acne. Reach out to a skincare retailer to learn more and buy an acne-prone 4-step regimen kit.
